Role Overview
As a Senior Global Supply Manager, you will shape and execute supply chain strategies for critical components used in advanced fission power systems. This role is central to ensuring long-term supply reliability, regulatory adherence, and alignment with domestic content and tax credit programs essential to large-scale deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage end-to-end supply base strategies across the sourced bill of materials, with deep insight into cost, risk, capacity, and qualification requirements
- Ensure every critical component has a sourcing plan synchronized with project timelines and growth objectives
- Shift procurement from reactive to strategic, identifying supply risks such as single-source dependencies and long-lead items before they affect delivery
- Develop supplier segmentation models based on technical capability, nuclear compliance, capacity, and strategic value
- Define and maintain supplier classification standards, ensuring alignment across Engineering, Quality, and Operations
- Oversee the Approved Supplier List (ASL), verifying compliance with regulatory, quality, and performance benchmarks
- Implement performance management systems, including scorecards, corrective actions, and long-term supplier development
- Ensure procurement practices support eligibility for federal and state tax credits, particularly those tied to domestic manufacturing
- Collaborate with Finance to build tracking systems and documentation that validate qualified spending
- Establish qualification protocols that enhance tax credit recovery
- Provide procurement insights to support financial planning and incentive reporting
- Optimize the RFx process to improve data quality, supplier engagement, and sourcing transparency
- Lead the selection and rollout of sourcing tools such as supplier portals to support scaling
- Support the implementation of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems to align strategic sourcing with transactional execution
- Ensure all sourcing decisions meet nuclear regulatory and quality standards
- Partner with Quality and Engineering on procurement for safety-critical systems
- Maintain knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) requirements and Code Stamps (e.g., N, NPT, NA), and apply them to supplier qualification and fabrication oversight
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or category management within a hardware-intensive industry
- Direct experience supporting nuclear hardware or suppliers under nuclear regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to develop or restructure supply base strategies at the program or system level
- Strong grasp of cost modeling, supplier risk, and capacity planning
- Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and long-term supply agreements
- Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders in Engineering and Finance
- U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with nuclear-qualified suppliers and safety-related procurement
- Familiarity with ASME BPVC and relevant Code Stamps (e.g., N, U)
- Background implementing RFx platforms, supplier portals, or procurement technologies
- Experience supporting tax credit compliance or domestic content initiatives
- Work history in high-reliability sectors such as nuclear, aerospace, defense, semiconductors, or automotive

Work Model
This role operates in a hybrid format, with flexibility for remote work within the United States. Remote employees are required to travel to Santa Clara, CA twice per quarter and complete a two-week onboarding period onsite.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $135,000–$165,000. The position includes equity, competitive pay, 401k, health insurance, FSA, and flexible time off. Flexible work hours are supported.
