Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic team building robust, scalable microservices and user-facing applications for retail and eCommerce brands. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing API-first, composable services and shaping the technical direction of critical systems within a cloud-native environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain microservices and business-facing user dashboards with a focus on quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with product teams to design and implement API-first services within a retail cloud environment.
- Write clean, functional, and testable code primarily in TypeScript and JavaScript, leveraging AWS Serverless technologies.
- Publish APIs, SDKs, and CLIs to facilitate ease of use by other internal developers.
- Stay current with best practices in software engineering and apply them to projects.
- Take ownership of the full software lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- Approximately 7+ years of software development experience with strong skills in both frontend and backend components.
- Proficiency in TypeScript (3+ years) and JavaScript.
- Experience in Node.js.
- Familiarity with AWS Serverless services such as Lambda, CloudFront, and CodePipeline.
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment to high-quality software solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions.
- Problem-solving mindset focused on delivering the best solutions rather than quick fixes.
