About the Role
Design and implement high-quality front-end solutions for a Shopify-powered storefront, ensuring seamless user experiences and alignment with business goals through close collaboration with design and backend teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible storefront components
- Optimize front-end performance and load times
- Translate design mockups into functional code
- Collaborate with UX designers to refine visual implementations
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs
- Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning
- Improve front-end testing practices and coverage
- Support ongoing site reliability and incident response
- Stay current with evolving web standards and tools
- Contribute to front-end architecture decisions
- Implement A/B testing and conversion-focused features
- Maintain consistency across international markets
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer-facing issues
- Integrate analytics and tracking systems
- Follow security best practices in client-side code
- Assist in migration of legacy storefront elements
- Use version control workflows effectively
- Document technical decisions and patterns
- Support deployment and release processes
- Advocate for user experience improvements
- Evaluate third-party front-end tools and libraries
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards
- Participate in agile ceremonies and planning
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify Hydrogen or Remix
- Background in e-commerce or retail technology
- Knowledge of GraphQL and API integrations
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with TypeScript
