As a Senior Frontend Engineer based in China, you’ll play a central role in designing and implementing gamified features that influence how users interact, engage, and purchase in real time.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of end-to-end interactive systems that encourage repeat engagement, such as challenges, rewards, and virtual point economies.
- Collaborate across product and engineering to launch features that directly impact user behavior and business outcomes.
- Use data and user feedback to iterate on designs, improving usability and enjoyment without sacrificing performance.
- Ensure seamless integration between frontend interfaces and backend services, delivering smooth and responsive experiences.
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of experience building frontend web applications with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong proficiency with React and Next.js, and a track record of shipping user-facing features efficiently.
- A user-first mindset—your technical decisions are guided by how real people experience the product.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English without reliance on translation tools.
- Familiarity with backend systems to support robust frontend architecture.
Preferred Background
- Experience in e-commerce, especially platforms involving real-time interaction or gamification.
- Fullstack or mobile development experience.
