Truelogic Software is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide technical direction for our platform team and ensure the continuous reliability of our production environment. You'll implement tools to improve service delivery, mentor junior engineers, and lead large-scale projects impacting stakeholders across the marketing ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Implement tools and processes to improve the reliability, security, and efficiency of the ecosystem.
- Work closely with engineers to understand and eliminate blockers to maximize engineering throughput.
- Configure, orchestrate, and continuously improve the client's platform.
- Review and enforce platform reliability for all applications entering the ecosystem.
- Improve the visibility of key platform performance metrics.
- Train internal users on DevOps processes and tools.
- Provide a third-line escalation point for platform engineers.
- Take part in an out-of-hours on-call rotation.
- Lead large-scale projects that impact stakeholders outside your immediate sphere of influence.
- Work closely with engineers to develop, maintain, and improve the CI/CD process.
- Provide architectural insight and support when needed.
What We're Looking For
- A strong working knowledge of container orchestration tools.
- Strong understanding and demonstrable experience with cloud technologies and providers.
- Thorough knowledge and experience of GCP (GKE, Cloud SQL, Networking).
- Understanding of AWS (ALB, EC2, VPC, Route53).
- Strong understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Good comprehension of database administration principles.
- Proficient in at least one scripting language for automation of tasks.
- Solid understanding of network and security principles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Subject matter expert in all Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and configuration management tools used throughout the company.
