SailPoint is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer - Data Store

About the Role

Join a forward-thinking team responsible for the operation and security of a global Identity Security Cloud platform in the UAE. This role plays a central part in maintaining resilient, scalable infrastructure with a strong emphasis on data sovereignty, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and enhance cloud infrastructure within AWS, ensuring high availability and secure data handling for customer-facing services
  • Manage and optimize distributed data stores including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, S3, DynamoDB, and Kafka in restricted-access environments
  • Collaborate with software and DevOps engineers to deploy and monitor production systems using Kubernetes and ArgoCD
  • Support agile delivery by automating releases through Jenkins and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
  • Respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently and independently
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new features and services into production while meeting strict compliance standards
  • Develop expertise in the core data platforms and contribute to long-term operational strategy and improvements

Required Skills

  • Proven experience supporting 24x7 production environments, particularly in SaaS or cloud service operations
  • Strong technical background in AWS, containerized workloads, and networking fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with machine learning pipelines and data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and Flink
  • Ability to lead process adoption and influence peers across engineering teams without direct authority
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving, startup-like environments with evolving priorities

Work Environment

This is a remote position based in the UAE, with access to office spaces for team meetups and planning sessions. The role requires occasional in-person interviews. You’ll work within a globally distributed organization, contributing to a platform at the forefront of AI-driven identity security.
