Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing
- Maintain and improve data warehouse architecture
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across systems
- Collaborate with analytics and machine learning teams to support data needs
- Optimize query performance and storage efficiency
- Monitor data pipeline health and troubleshoot issues
- Enforce data governance and security standards
- Evaluate and integrate new data technologies
- Document data models, pipelines, and processes
- Support data compliance and privacy initiatives
- Work closely with product teams to understand data requirements
- Develop automated testing for data workflows
- Improve data lineage and metadata tracking
- Contribute to on-call rotations for critical data systems
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise
- Participate in architecture design discussions
- Ensure high availability of data infrastructure
- Implement monitoring and alerting for data pipelines
- Drive best practices in data engineering across teams
- Use version control for data pipeline code management
- Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources
- Support self-service analytics platforms
- Enhance data quality validation frameworks
- Work with infrastructure teams on cloud resource optimization

Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a technical field
