Shape impactful solutions in health insurance as a Senior Business Analyst. In this role, you'll partner directly with clients and engineering teams to uncover business challenges, define clear requirements, and deliver effective, data-driven solutions. Working entirely remotely, you'll leverage your domain knowledge to guide process improvements and system enhancements on a modern no-code platform.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify core business issues and determine the best analytical path forward
- Design and document workflows ranging from straightforward to moderately complex, ensuring alignment with client goals
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions using interviews, workshops, and observation to capture detailed business needs
- Translate complex processes into clear user stories and business requirements for technical teams
- Develop comprehensive test scenarios and support testing phases to ensure solutions meet client expectations
- Review system functionality, integration points, and data flows to identify optimization opportunities
- Contribute to project planning, including effort estimation, task tracking, and documentation updates
- Guide junior analysts when needed and support quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of business analysis experience, with a focus on health insurance
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven background in Agile or Scrum environments, including backlog management and sprint planning
- Strong ability to document processes, analyze workflows, and validate system behavior
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines
- Fluent English communication, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with software development cycles, especially as they apply to web or mobile platforms
Nice to Have
- Experience in insurtech or digital insurance platforms
- Professional certification in health insurance (e.g., from INS, LOMA, or III)
- Technical writing experience for system documentation or user guides
