Shape business solutions in health insurance technology
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will collaborate directly with clients and development teams to uncover operational challenges and deliver effective, data-driven solutions. Your focus will be on the claims lifecycle within health insurance, where you'll assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Lead requirement-gathering activities using interviews, workshops, and analysis to capture complex client needs
- Document business rules, workflows, and system changes using user stories and detailed specifications
- Design test scenarios and support QA, UAT, and release activities, including defect tracking and change control
- Translate business problems into process enhancements and system adjustments, from concept to implementation
- Work within Agile frameworks to scope epics, plan sprints, and support iterative delivery
- Produce and maintain process documentation, data flow descriptions, and integration details
- Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate effort, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of business analysis experience in the insurance sector
- Proven background in health insurance, with in-depth knowledge of claims operations
- Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies and project lifecycle phases
- Proficiency in defining requirements, modeling processes, and validating technical designs
- Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly across teams
- Effective time management and organizational abilities to balance multiple priorities
Preferred Background
- Experience in insurtech environments
- Industry certifications from INS, LOMA, or III related to health insurance
- Technical writing experience for system documentation or user guidance
