Position Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), you will lead critical initiatives to enhance system functionality, data integrity, and regulatory alignment across Medicaid and CMS frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT departments and external EVV vendors to define, prioritize, and implement system improvements, integrations, and configuration changes
- Design and support API-driven data exchanges between Medicaid platforms, third-party providers, and internal systems
- Configure and validate business rules for visit verification, including call-in/call-out procedures, GPS tracking, and face-to-face visit validation
- Create comprehensive test strategies, execute user acceptance testing, and verify fixes for system updates
- Ensure data consistency across EVV, scheduling, and billing platforms through rigorous validation processes
- Serve as the central point of contact between operations teams, provider networks, technology partners, and development staff
- Lead workshops to gather requirements, map business processes, and align stakeholders on solution design
- Develop training materials and deliver sessions for end users, while maintaining up-to-date documentation
- Track compliance performance, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to meet evolving regulatory standards
- Support audit readiness, quality assurance reviews, and state reporting obligations
- Ensure all system modifications adhere to Medicaid and CMS EVV mandates
Qualifications
Candidates must bring a minimum of six years of business analysis experience in healthcare, with a focus on technology solutions impacting care delivery. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL is essential, along with hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and Confluence for knowledge sharing.
Agile fluency is required—experience participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story development within Scrum frameworks is expected. You should have a proven ability to interpret stakeholder needs, translate them into technical requirements, and communicate outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Direct experience with EVV platforms or similar healthcare visit management systems is critical. This includes configuring business logic, validating end-to-end workflows, and ensuring data accuracy across integrated systems. Leadership experience—facilitating sessions, guiding teams, and presenting to executives—is a key component of success in this role.
Experience supporting federal and state compliance reporting, particularly within Medicaid environments, is highly valued. Familiarity with Medicare systems is a plus.
