Take part in a rigorous seven-week internship based in Bratislava, designed for students passionate about quantitative research and cryptocurrency markets. This role offers direct collaboration with experienced traders and quantitative analysts, providing a foundation in real-world trading practices, data modeling, and algorithmic strategies.
What You’ll Do
Start each day with interactive sessions that simulate market conditions and sharpen decision-making instincts. Dive into practical coding exercises using Python, Pandas, and SQL to analyze financial data, build models, and monitor live signals through Grafana dashboards. You’ll work on open-ended problems in teams, test your own trading hypotheses, and gain exposure to manual trading with meaningful position sizes to understand market behavior firsthand.
- Engage in daily discussions on market trends and trading logic
- Develop and test quantitative strategies using real datasets
- Present and defend your findings in a culture that values clear, honest feedback
- Receive structured training to quickly onboard into complex trading concepts
Who You Are
You enjoy analytical challenges and have a natural curiosity about how markets work. You’re comfortable with basic programming, especially in Python, and are eager to deepen your technical and financial knowledge. You thrive in environments where transparency, direct communication, and personal accountability are standard.
Full-time on-site presence is required for the duration of the program in summer 2026. Candidates should be prepared to commit fully for the seven-week period. European and UK citizens will receive support for relocation, accommodation, and visa logistics.
Compensation & Environment
This role offers a monthly salary of 5,000 EUR, with living costs in Bratislava making this equivalent to earning over €13,000 in London. The workplace operates on principles of radical transparency, trust, and autonomy. There is no room for bureaucracy or indirect communication—just clear goals, honest dialogue, and the freedom to innovate.
Successful interns may be considered for full-time roles based on performance. All interns receive comprehensive onboarding, daily mentorship, and access to a culture where ownership and integrity shape every decision.
