Lime is hiring a Principal Product Manager, Core Rider Experience

About the Role

This position is responsible for shaping the core experience for riders using a shared transportation network, focusing on product strategy, execution, and long-term vision to improve accessibility, trust, and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and roadmap for primary rider-facing functionality
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions
  • Identify user pain points through data analysis and rider feedback
  • Prioritize features that increase rider retention and platform engagement
  • Work closely with operations teams to align product decisions with real-world deployment
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving safety, compliance, and rider support
  • Translate business goals into measurable product outcomes
  • Drive improvements in app performance, reliability, and accessibility
  • Evaluate new technologies and market trends to inform innovation
  • Ensure consistent user experience across diverse geographic markets
  • Manage trade-offs between speed, quality, and scalability in product delivery
  • Advocate for rider needs at executive and strategic planning levels
  • Develop key metrics to monitor product health and user satisfaction
  • Oversee end-to-end launch of new features, including A/B testing and iteration
  • Coordinate with legal and policy teams on regulatory implications of product changes

Nice to Have

  • Experience in micromobility, ride-sharing, or on-demand services
  • Knowledge of transportation infrastructure and city regulations
  • Prior work in startups or high-growth technology companies
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design
  • Experience managing AI or machine learning features in production
