Lead the technical evolution of a next-generation CRM platform by shaping architecture, AI integration, and data processing systems that directly impact small businesses. As Principal Engineer, Full Stack, you'll own core components of the Steer platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability as the product grows.
What You'll Do
- Design and optimize data ingestion and processing pipelines to power intelligent automation features in the CRM ecosystem.
- Architect reusable, full-stack services that support rapid iteration while maintaining system integrity and speed.
- Collaborate closely with Product to identify user challenges and translate them into robust, maintainable solutions.
- Guide engineering practices around security, testing, and code quality through hands-on reviews and system design leadership.
- Shape CI/CD workflows, containerization, and infrastructure automation to improve developer velocity and system resilience.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and enhance cross-stack problem-solving.
- Provide technical direction that aligns with long-term product goals and customer needs.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience building enterprise-grade SaaS applications with a focus on full-stack systems.
- Proven work with large language models and prompt engineering in production environments.
- Strong command of relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance tuning.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives independently and communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and collaboration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with .NET, Node.js (TypeScript), and React.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Background as a founding engineer or in early-stage startups where adaptability and ownership were critical.
