Responsibilities
- Manage physical validation processes for steering system development.
- Lead cross-functional validation and product release activities within the Simulation, Validation, NVH, and Prototyping team.
- Oversee resource allocation, budget planning, and financial control for validation tasks.
- Direct end-to-end development, testing, and validation of systems, covering mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic components.
- Consolidate and standardize test methodologies and validation strategies across projects.
- Prepare and deliver validation plans including Design Verification and simulation frameworks.
- Report progress and escalate risks to project and program leadership, driving resolution.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align validation timelines with program schedules and customer needs.
- Serve as primary technical liaison for customers on testing and validation matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in test management, project coordination, or project management roles.
- Proficiency in testing procedures, data interpretation, and analytical problem-solving.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to lead and inspire team members.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals in steering or mechatronic systems.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards such as ISO26262 and A-SPICE.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Customer-facing experience, adaptability, teamwork, and presentation capabilities.
Nice to Have
- ISTQB certification as a Certified Tester or Test Manager.
