Role OverviewAs a Senior Clinical Research Associate, you will lead the oversight of clinical trial sites to ensure studies are conducted in alignment with protocols, regulatory guidelines, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Your work will directly support participant safety, data accuracy, and compliance across all phases of trial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive site monitoring through scheduled and risk-based visits, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate site performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain trial integrity and timelines.
- Collaborate with project teams to support accurate data collection, query resolution, and timely reporting.
- Train and mentor site personnel and junior CRAs to promote consistent, high-quality trial conduct.
- Develop strong working relationships with investigators and site staff to foster compliance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Advanced degree in life sciences, nursing, or a related medical field.
- Proven track record in clinical monitoring with in-depth knowledge of trial design, regulatory frameworks, and GCP compliance.
- Experience managing multiple sites and complex studies, demonstrating strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with clinical trial management systems and electronic data capture tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently—minimum 60% time, including international and domestic assignments—along with a valid driver’s license.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Denmark, offering flexibility for remote work balanced with regular travel. The position requires significant on-site presence at clinical locations to support monitoring and training activities.
