The New Product Design Engineer is responsible for shaping the development of electronic interconnect technologies used by advanced technology firms. This position requires active participation in the full product design cycle, from concept through validation, with a focus on innovation, precision, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design efforts for a range of connector solutions, including board-level, cable, power, high-speed, and panel-mounted systems.
- Engage directly in troubleshooting during product development and respond to quality challenges as they emerge.
- Follow established engineering protocols for documentation, data organization, 3D modeling, and simulation to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to assess market needs and perform engineering cost evaluations based on defined product requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as manufacturing, purchasing, quality assurance, test engineering, and process development, as well as external suppliers, to deliver fully integrated solutions.
