Join Tietoevry Create as a Middle/Senior QA Automation Engineer (m/f/d) and play a key role in the Telecom team for our client BICS. You will develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend and frontend scenarios, conduct end-to-end testing activities, and collaborate effectively within an agile, international environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend and frontend scenarios following the Test Pyramid.
- Conduct end-to-end testing activities, from collecting requirements and test design to regression testing and release.
- Validate functional and technical design documents and provide testing estimates.
- Collaborate in an agile environment (Scrum) and communicate effectively with international teams.
- Stay updated on best practices in automated testing and agile methodologies.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of Java core.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience in test automation for API/backend scenarios.
- Experience with GIT, CI (Jenkins), Maven or equivalent.
- Experience with UNIX.
- Good knowledge of testing theory.
- Understanding and experience working according to agile principles (Scrum).
- Knows benefits of automated testing and when it is applicable.
- Practical experience with low level tests automation according to the testing pyramid.
- Pro-active communication in case of questions, issues, or improvement proposals.
- Ability to abstract complex solutions, validate functional analysis and technical design documents, and provide estimates.
- Strong time management skills and flexibility to switch context.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience with Playwright.
- Familiar with Jira and Zephyr for Jira.
- Experience with AI for QA.
