Responsibilities
- Develop and manage work instructions, process documentation, and tooling specifications
- Design, execute, and refine manufacturing processes for the Starliner spacecraft program
- Evaluate production metrics to detect patterns and opportunities for enhancement
- Assist in determining root causes and implementing corrective measures for production problems
- Lead key manufacturing operations on the shop floor
- Advance continuous improvement efforts and apply lean manufacturing principles
- Engage in design evaluations and offer input on component manufacturability and assembly
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure components can be efficiently manufactured and assembled
- Partner with suppliers to maintain material quality and on-time delivery
