About the Role
The intern will support the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models, collaborate with engineers and researchers, and contribute to improving model performance and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and refining machine learning models for real-world applications
- Collaborate with engineering and research teams to implement model improvements
- Support data preprocessing and feature engineering workflows
- Contribute to model training, evaluation, and testing pipelines
- Help monitor model performance in production environments
- Participate in debugging and optimizing model behavior
- Work on improving data quality and labeling processes
- Support the integration of models into product features
- Contribute to documentation for models and experiments
- Analyze model outputs to identify areas for enhancement
- Assist in scaling machine learning infrastructure
- Help maintain version control for model experiments
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Support A/B testing of model variants
- Work with large-scale datasets to train and validate models
- Contribute to reducing model latency and improving efficiency
- Help align model outputs with product goals
- Support the deployment of new model versions
- Collaborate on error analysis and failure mode identification
- Assist in developing automated testing for models
- Work on improving model interpretability and monitoring
- Contribute to research on model accuracy and robustness
- Support the use of third-party AI and ML tools
- Participate in sprint planning and team standups
- Help document model behavior and performance trends
