As an AI Engineer in the GenAI & Data team, you'll lead the development of intelligent systems that transform how claims are handled. You'll build and maintain production-ready applications using generative AI, including document understanding, automated workflows, and decision-support tools that directly impact customer journeys and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain GenAI solutions such as document extraction and agentic AI processes to enhance claims handling
- Deploy and integrate AI models and agents into existing systems, ensuring seamless operation across APIs, data pipelines, and monitoring frameworks
- Work side by side with data scientists and product owners to shape requirements and refine the AI development lifecycle
- Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and compliant through robust testing, CI/CD practices, and observability
- Optimize performance using caching, feedback loops, and iterative improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in AI engineering with strong Python skills and hands-on work in GenAI technologies like LLMs, OCR, DocIntelligence, and RAG
- Track record of deploying AI solutions in production environments
- A results-driven mindset—focused on real-world impact, rapid iteration, and stakeholder collaboration
- Commitment to quality, including testing, monitoring, security, and performance optimization
- 4+ years in AI, data science, or data engineering roles
- Background in Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Fluency in Dutch and English (C1 level or higher)
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure
