We are seeking a skilled L2 Software Engineer to help evolve and maintain a large-scale, multi-technology codebase. This role involves full-stack contributions across several platforms, with a focus on long-term stability, performance, and innovation.
What You'll Do
- Develop, refactor, and optimize PHP and WordPress code that powers core application features.
- Extend and customize WordPress plugins to meet evolving business needs.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs that support both mobile and web platforms.
- Contribute to a React Native mobile application using Expo for customer engagement.
- Support and enhance a Next.js-based customer website with performance and usability improvements.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across multiple layers of the stack to ensure system reliability.
- Adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks as the architecture grows.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and WordPress integrations.
- At least 2–3 years of professional software development experience.
- Ability to navigate and improve complex, legacy codebases efficiently.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across full-stack environments.
- Experience or interest in integrating AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini to enhance system capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating in fully remote teams.
Preferred Background
- Hands-on work with PHP and WordPress in production systems.
- Frontend experience using React for web applications.
- Familiarity with logistics, e-commerce, or supply chain domains.
- Background in database optimization and scaling relational systems.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field—valued but not required.
