What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Translate design mockups into responsive, accessible front-end interfaces.
- Write clean, scalable back-end code and optimize database queries using MySQL.
- Ensure websites perform efficiently across devices and load quickly.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs to extend functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across both front-end and server-side components.
- Follow secure coding practices and stay current with WordPress core updates and vulnerabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- At least three years of hands-on WordPress development experience, including theme and plugin creation.
- Proficiency in full-stack technologies: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Git.
- Understanding of SEO principles as they apply to site structure and performance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
- Intermediate written and verbal English skills.
- A degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
