About the Role
The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of onboarding and ramp acceleration strategies for go-to-market teams, ensuring new hires achieve productivity quickly and consistently.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement structured onboarding curricula for customer-facing roles
- Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing leaders to align training content with business goals
- Track and analyze ramp time metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Iterate on onboarding programs based on feedback and performance data
- Develop onboarding materials including playbooks, presentations, and assessments
- Onboard new hires across different geographies and time zones
- Coordinate with L&D and HR teams to ensure seamless integration into company culture
- Measure effectiveness of training through KPIs and stakeholder input
- Standardize onboarding processes across departments
- Manage external vendors or platforms used in training delivery
- Facilitate live onboarding sessions and workshops
- Ensure content remains current with product updates and market changes
- Support manager enablement with tools to guide new hire development
- Create dashboards to monitor cohort progress and outcomes
- Drive adoption of best practices in onboarding across GTM teams
- Identify skill gaps early in the ramp process
- Work with product teams to incorporate feature training
- Scale onboarding programs as the organization grows
- Maintain a centralized repository of onboarding resources
- Promote peer learning and cohort-based experiences
- Evaluate new technologies to enhance learning delivery
- Ensure compliance with internal training standards
- Gather testimonials and success stories from ramped hires
- Align certification milestones with role expectations
- Support global teams with localized training adaptations

- Experience in a developer-first or technical product company
- Background in SaaS platform businesses
- Prior role in enablement or training within a high-growth startup
- Familiarity with temporal or distributed systems concepts
- Experience with cohort-based onboarding models
- Knowledge of sales methodology frameworks
- Certification in instructional design or adult learning
- Experience using data visualization tools for reporting
- Exposure to global onboarding programs
- Track record of building programs from the ground up
