About the Role
The technician will provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, and IT infrastructure, ensuring systems operate efficiently and securely while assisting users with technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems for end users
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers
- Support network connectivity and peripheral devices
- Manage user accounts and access permissions in directory services
- Perform routine system updates and security patches
- Troubleshoot printing and document management systems
- Assist with deployment of new technology across departments
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and service requests
- Provide remote support using secure access tools
- Respond promptly to service desk tickets and user inquiries
- Support mobile devices and remote access solutions
- Assist with backup and recovery procedures
- Enforce endpoint security policies and antivirus protocols
- Collaborate with IT team on infrastructure improvements
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting for LAN/WAN issues
- Participate in after-hours maintenance when required
- Follow change management processes for system modifications
- Support audiovisual systems for meetings and presentations
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employee technology access
- Ensure compliance with internal IT standards and procedures
