Design impactful visual content for a culturally driven media brand, shaping editorial and branded campaigns that resonate across platforms. This role is central to maintaining a distinct creative voice while meeting the fast pace of digital culture.
What You’ll Do
- Develop original design concepts for digital, social, print, and experiential projects that reflect both brand identity and cultural relevance.
- Create tailored content for platforms including WeChat, Weibo, Red, Douyin, and Bilibili, ensuring visual consistency and innovation.
- Collaborate with creative, editorial, and sales teams to bring campaign ideas from concept to delivery.
- Interpret client briefs into strong visual narratives that meet business goals and creative standards.
- Present design concepts and campaign proposals directly to clients as part of media pitches.
- Stay ahead of design trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to inform creative direction.
- Coordinate with external creatives such as illustrators, animators, and artists to expand visual possibilities.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Art, Design, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of two years in design within a media, agency, or in-house creative environment.
- Proven track record through a strong portfolio showcasing digital and multi-format design work.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Experience working across photo, video, animation, and print mediums.
- Familiarity with the brand’s visual language and its place within youth and digital culture.
- Sharp attention to detail, with sensitivity to both Chinese and global visual contexts.
- Independent mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and solve problems under pressure.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI tools, motion graphics, or 3D rendering.
- Additional languages spoken in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Flexibility for occasional travel as project needs arise.
