About the Role
This position is designed for recent graduates seeking hands-on experience in technical service, offering training and mentorship to support long-term career growth in scientific instrumentation support.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission advanced laboratory instruments at customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with precision devices
- Ensure systems operate according to manufacturer specifications
- Follow safety and compliance protocols during service calls
- Document service activities and outcomes accurately
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding equipment performance
- Collaborate with technical teams to escalate complex problems
- Maintain service tools and diagnostic equipment
- Adhere to scheduled service timelines and customer appointments
- Support validation and qualification processes for instruments
- Assist in troubleshooting electromechanical and analytical systems
- Participate in ongoing product and technical training
- Provide feedback on recurring technical issues
- Work independently in the field with remote supervision
- Maintain professional conduct during customer interactions
- Track parts usage and manage field inventory
- Follow quality assurance procedures for service delivery
- Support remote diagnostics and phone-based troubleshooting
- Contribute to continuous improvement in service operations
