Responsibilities
- Demonstrate attention to detail and ensure quality in all work processes.
- Maintain reliability in attendance and task completion.
- Performs onsite installations, routine maintenance, and repairs of product line
- Performs onsite training to customers in the operation and maintenance of product line
- Communicates and resolves issues to ensure successful sign off with customer is acheived.
- Provide remote technical support to troubleshoot and diagnose machine malfunctions
- Apply electronic fundamentals and logic in daily tasks.
- Read schematics and blueprints accurately for job requirements.
- Use hand/power tools and test equipment (IE Multimeter, radiation meter) to perform onsite service visits
- Navigate and utilize the ticketing system Cloud For Customers (C4C) for scheduling service visits and tracking technical support.
- and ERP system (SAP)
- Serves as company Liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters
- Offer spare part support, identifying customer part requirements to generate repair and spare parts quotes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical or vocational education in electronics, mechanics, or related fields
- Field service experience in a similar role is mandatory
- Fundamental understanding of electronic principles, logic, schematics, and blueprint reading.
- Experience successfully servicing electronic equipment
- Basic proficiency using C4C/SAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Prior experience in a technical support or electronics repair role
- Ability to travel, including possible international travel as required
Nice to Have
- Field service experience in semiconductor, PCB or with electro-mechanical equipment (x-Ray and Bond Test) preferred
