Responsibilities
- Oversee setup and control systems for new production lines, facilities, and line modifications.
- Manage can movement via conveyors and lifts, with accountability for a designated process zone based on expertise.
- Align equipment performance with utility consumption and enhance can throughput using sensor technology.
- Prioritize operational efficiency and waste reduction during startup phases, while also supporting utility management, ODM utilization, and material flow improvements.
- Promote a safety-driven workplace and verify all machinery adheres to regulatory standards.
- Lead technical execution during equipment commissioning and initial production, including installation and ramp-up support.
- Serve as the local technical authority, diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and process issues as they arise.
- Ensure proper installation, testing, and calibration of electrical and control systems; perform maintenance and repairs on systems ranging from 24V to 600V, including PLCs, sensors, motors, and VFDs.
- Specialize in camera-based inspection systems, maintaining accurate calibration, validation, and consistent performance.
- Provide organized training to operations and maintenance staff, and assist in creating SOPs, work instructions, and training documentation.
