New Era Technology is hiring a Digital Product Designer to join our client's direct-to-consumer group. In this role, you will craft intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital experiences for a global healthcare leader. Your work will focus on leveraging technologies to develop therapeutic ecosystems, connected devices, and analytics that transform patient outcomes, applying design thinking to solve complex challenges while keeping the human element central.
What You'll Do
- Elevate and maintain design standards across various outputs, including consumer apps and visual storytelling for patient journeys.
- Present and persuasively communicate design rationale to internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital solutions.
- Utilize component-based design systems, determining when to follow existing patterns or break constraints.
- Identify and address user pain points to improve usability and overall product performance.
- Participate in a culture of critique, collaboration, and honest reflection.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design (Digital Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Over 5 years of experience specifically in design for digital mediums.
- An exceptional portfolio demonstrating creative work across multiple projects, with a focus on interface or screen-based experiences.
- Visual Design and experience expertise from initial concept development through product launch.
- Passion for typography, motion, copy, and art direction.
- Deep understanding of type, grid, composition, and color.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas for a broad range of collaborators.
- High level of accountability, initiative, and the ability to prioritize workloads to deliver results.
- A creative spirit capable of building strong relationships and navigating conflict effectively.
Team & Environment
You will be a member of the Design Our Clients team, working within the client's direct-to-consumer group.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based out of the client headquarters.
