About the Role
Design and implement computer vision algorithms to enhance identity proofing and fraud detection. Work with large-scale datasets to train, evaluate, and deploy models in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop computer vision models for identity validation tasks
- Process and analyze high-volume image and video datasets
- Optimize deep learning architectures for accuracy and speed
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production systems
- Evaluate model performance using statistical and qualitative methods
- Stay current with advancements in computer vision and deep learning
- Improve data pipelines for training and inference
- Support A/B testing of model iterations
- Document methodologies and results clearly
- Troubleshoot model failures and data quality issues
- Work with cross-functional teams to define product requirements
- Contribute to research initiatives and technical publications
- Ensure models comply with privacy and security standards
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Use version control for model and data tracking
- Monitor deployed models for performance degradation
- Apply domain knowledge to real-world identity challenges
- Design experiments to validate model assumptions
- Leverage cloud infrastructure for scalable training
- Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain reproducibility in model development workflows
- Support model explainability and auditability
- Contribute to automated testing frameworks
- Identify opportunities for data augmentation
- Work with minimal supervision on defined projects
