About the Role
The Data Engineer will build and optimize data pipelines, maintain data storage solutions, and work closely with analytics teams to enable data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingestion and transformation
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across systems
- Develop and maintain database schemas and data models
- Collaborate with analytics and product teams to define data requirements
- Monitor data workflows for performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues
- Optimize query performance and data storage efficiency
- Support data governance and compliance standards
- Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs and external systems
- Automate data validation and testing processes
- Maintain documentation for data architecture and processes
- Work with cloud-based data platforms and services
- Contribute to the development of ETL frameworks
- Implement data security and access controls
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Stay current with data engineering best practices and technologies
