Responsibilities
- use data to answer strategic questions and support our business strategy and rapid growth.
- organize, visualize and understand large data sets relating to various performance marketing channels.
- run deep-dive analysis, create regression or segmentation models, build dashboards and generate reporting to drive business growth and draw strategic insights from product, user, and operational data.
- be an ambassador for our data-driven culture, taking data and using it to answer business questions and drive strategy & decision making
- access, clean and organize raw data in a way that makes sense for you, your team and your stakeholders
- help us to see and understand our data in a way that makes sense, creating automated dashboards and funnels for various internal teams
- take our data and using it to answer business questions, drive strategy and decision making
Requirements
- pull, clean and manipulate large sets of complex data to turn them into stories that business stakeholders can understand
- write SQL queries and perform data analysis with Python and/or R, and know your way around analytics tools (Looker, amplitude DBT and snowflake)
- naturally curious and have a solid understanding of common statistical methods and how they relate to real world applications
- work independently while also embracing mentorship and guidance, confidently addressing stakeholder requests and contributing valuable insights.
- take ownership of your work, leveraging the support provided to solve problems and deliver impactful results.
- comfortable navigating ambiguous or changing priorities and can adjust your approach to meet new challenges.
- understand how data insights connect to broader business goals and are eager to learn how to make strategic contributions
Benefits

Additional Information
- Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada, provided they maintain a minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone and are available to work a 40-hour work week.
- We’re a remote-first company, but you’re always welcome to join us at our head office on 260 Queen Street West in Toronto.
- We also host virtual and in-person socials where interns can connect, play games, and meet others - including company - wide game nights and events e.
