Coopers iET AG is looking for a Client System Engineer for an indefinite project with a financial sector client based in Zürich-Süd. In this role, you will be responsible for the further development, optimization, and security of the Windows client environment and end-user services.
What You'll Do
- Advance and optimize the client company's Windows client environment.
- Plan and implement end-user services, as well as OS and software releases.
- Analyze and resolve issues and problems in 2nd- and 3rd-level support.
- Manage endpoint protection solutions and analyze security incidents.
- Collaborate closely with the client's internal IT departments and external partners.
- Take responsibility for requirements engineering, packaging, testing, and deployment of software.
- Implement security requirements, including hardening, vulnerability, and patch management.
- Create technical concepts, specifications, and documentation.
- Optimize user experience and automate relevant workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in Windows 10/11 engineering and management.
- Completed education in computer science.
- Very good knowledge of SCCM/MECM, GPO, and security hardening.
- Practical experience with M365 services like OneDrive for Business or Windows Hello for Business.
- Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
- Analytical, structured, and independent way of working.
- High degree of initiative, sense of responsibility, and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and presentation skills as well as a pronounced quality awareness.
- Fluent German and very good English language skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with PKI and certificate management.
- Experience in an enterprise or financial environment and in dealing with complex, regulated IT landscapes.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022, VDI Engineering, and RDS RemoteApp/RemoteDesktop.
