cargo.one is looking for an Automation and Data Operations Specialist to help our Partner Operations team work smarter and faster. You'll turn manual, repetitive workflows into reliable automations, design lightweight workflows, and create data alerts to spot issues early. Your impact will be measured in faster and better delivery for our customers.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain workflow automations in n8n (or similar) and Python to reduce manual efforts across the team
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for automations; write clear runbooks and drive quick incident response
- Create operational dashboards (e.g., in Looker) that surface data quality, health, and SLA performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processes and integrate your automations with existing systems
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in advanced SQL queries
- Hands-on Python experience
- Passion for automated workflows and optimizing processes
- A keen eye for detail, catching issues or inconsistencies early on
- Self-driven approach and love taking ownership of projects
- Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and give/receive feedback with grace
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with data visualisation platforms (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Experience working with a cloud data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- A technical degree in Computer Science or a related field
