About the Role

This role involves building and maintaining data models, supporting analytics infrastructure, and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for reliable data ingestion and transformation
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to define data requirements
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems
  • Implement data validation processes to improve data quality
  • Support the design and evolution of data warehouse structures
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval
  • Document data models and pipeline architectures
  • Monitor data workflows for performance and reliability
  • Troubleshoot data issues and implement corrective solutions
  • Participate in agile development cycles and team stand-ups
  • Contribute to version control and code review practices
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics projects
  • Assist in integrating data from multiple source systems
  • Support automated reporting and dashboard development
  • Apply software engineering principles to data infrastructure
  • Maintain awareness of data privacy and compliance standards
  • Use cloud-based data platforms for scalable analytics
  • Improve data accessibility for business users
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies for data engineering
  • Contribute to data governance initiatives

Nice to Have

  • Experience with dbt (data build tool)
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery
