About the Role
The role involves building and refining AI-driven features within a clinical software platform, working closely with product and clinical teams to ensure technical solutions meet real-world medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning models for clinical workflow automation
- Collaborate with clinical staff to identify high-impact use cases
- Optimize model performance and integration within existing software systems
- Develop data pipelines to support training and validation of AI systems
- Ensure models comply with healthcare data standards and privacy regulations
- Iterate on AI features based on user feedback and clinical outcomes
- Contribute to the architecture of a scalable, secure clinical platform
- Monitor deployed models for accuracy, drift, and performance issues
- Work in agile cycles to deliver incremental product improvements
- Document technical designs and model behavior for auditability
- Support integration of AI features into clinician-facing interfaces
- Evaluate third-party AI tools and libraries for potential adoption
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards
- Assist in defining metrics for AI feature success and impact
- Troubleshoot issues across the full stack when needed
- Stay current with advancements in healthcare AI and regulatory trends
Nice to Have
- Prior work on clinical decision support systems
- Experience with FHIR or healthcare interoperability standards
- Knowledge of explainable AI techniques
- Background in full-stack development
- Familiarity with MLOps practices
- Contribution to open-source AI projects
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline
Compensation
€35k-€60k/yr including equity
