Responsibilities
- Create and manage WordPress sites and custom plugins following industry best practices
- Ensure fast loading times and consistent display across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Develop clean, scalable, and reusable code for both client-facing and server-side components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- Work closely with design teams to transform visual concepts into functional web pages
- Enhance site speed and structure to meet SEO standards
- Integrate external services and data sources through API implementation
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems on both the front-end and back-end of client websites
- Keep current with evolving WordPress core updates, full-stack development trends, and security protocols
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of hands-on WordPress development experience covering both user interface and server-side functionality
- Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a closely related discipline
- Proven expertise in full-stack WordPress development, including building custom themes, plugins, and integrating back-end logic via WordPress APIs and PHP
- Comprehensive understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
