Join a forward-thinking digital organization seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to create clean, efficient, and visually accurate websites without relying on visual builders. You’ll play a key role in developing responsive, secure, and SEO-friendly WordPress implementations that directly contribute to marketing performance.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins using modern development practices
- Translate Figma designs into fully functional, pixel-perfect websites using Gutenberg and ACF
- Write clean, maintainable code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP with a focus on performance and accessibility
- Implement and optimize deployment workflows using Git and WP-CLI
- Collaborate with design, UX, and marketing teams to ensure technical alignment with campaign goals
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and support analytics and tracking integration
- Help define and enforce development standards, QA processes, and project timelines
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress and front-end development
- Proven track record of building custom Gutenberg blocks and ACF-powered sites
- Strong understanding of WordPress database structure and SQL
- Experience working with Agile teams across design, development, and QA
- Solid knowledge of technical SEO, WCAG accessibility standards, and web security principles
- Ability to debug complex issues and optimize site performance
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with core hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday. We welcome applicants from LATAM and offer a flexible yet structured schedule that supports deep work.
