Alabama Solutions is hiring a UX Data Analyst contractor to extract actionable insights from e-commerce user behavior. In this role, you will identify friction in customer journeys and drive measurable improvements to conversion by working closely with designers and developers on event tagging, KPI tracking, and A/B testing.
What You'll Do
- Analyze user behavior across e-commerce journeys using Google Analytics and Shopify.
- Define and track KPIs tied to conversion and engagement.
- Conduct journey mapping and funnel analysis to reduce bounce and abandonment.
- Collaborate with developers to implement and validate event tagging.
- Plan and execute A/B tests based on strategic hypotheses and success metrics.
- Report on test outcomes and performance shifts in user behavior.
- Turn data into clear insights and communicate those insights to clients.
- Support design decisions by linking behavioral data to UX pain points.
What We're Looking For
- 4 to 7 years of experience in e-commerce and data analytics.
- Mastery of Google Analytics, Shopify, and A/B testing platforms.
- Strong foundation in quantitative analysis, statistics, and data visualization.
- Comfortable crafting hypotheses and testing design variations.
- Experience creating and presenting reports that influence product decisions.
- Solid understanding of user behavior, heuristics, and UX best practices.
- Able to work across design, development, and project management teams.
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments and managing multiple client accounts.
- E-commerce / Shopify experience is a must.
- English Fluency is a must, both oral and written.
- Must be able to work US Eastern Time from 9 am to 1 pm.

- Familiarity with tools to build basic UX artifacts.
