A Junior UI/UX Designer will support the full design lifecycle in a remote, full-time capacity. The individual will work alongside product leads and developers, using contemporary design and AI-enhanced tools to build intuitive, effective user experiences for live products within a growth-focused marketing agency setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes for new features and design updates.
- Design consistent UI elements across all product interfaces, adhering to established design system standards.
- Use current design software and AI-powered platforms to boost ideation and workflow efficiency.
- Produce and manage design assets for development teams, ensuring clarity and thorough documentation.
- Assist in user research initiatives such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing sessions.
- Build user personas, map customer journeys, and define information architecture.
- Evaluate user feedback and recommend design refinements based on findings.
- Carry out competitive analysis and track evolving trends in design and user experience.
- Collaborate with developers to verify design feasibility and alignment with technical requirements.
- Engage in team discussions, brainstorming, and sprint planning, offering creative design input.
- Present design proposals to internal teams and stakeholders, integrating feedback as needed.
- Clearly convey design concepts and reasoning to cross-functional colleagues.
- Prepare detailed design specifications and keep well-organized records for development use.
- Ensure accurate and timely transfer of design files to developers and relevant team members.
- Leverage design systems and AI-aided tools to simplify documentation and maintain visual consistency.
- Update design documentation to reflect changes made during product development.
- Stay informed about emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 1 to 2 years of practical experience in UI/UX design, including academic projects or internships.
- Solid grasp of user-centered design principles, methods, and industry standards.
- Capable of producing wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and polished UI designs.
- Familiar with user research techniques, usability testing, and extracting meaningful insights.
- Skilled at turning user needs into intuitive, engaging digital experiences.
- Proficient in standard design tools such as Figma, with preference given to Figma expertise.
- Able to create precise design specifications and handoff materials for developers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for design presentations and team collaboration.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on detail and problem-solving.
- Receptive to feedback and committed to iterative design improvement.
- Effective time management and ability to manage concurrent design projects.
