ICF is hiring a Tribal Technical Project Specialist- REMOTE

About the Role

The specialist will coordinate technical projects for tribal governments, manage environmental data, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide administrative and technical support to public health and environmental protection programs serving Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical projects for tribal environmental and public health programs
  • Manage data collection, entry, and quality assurance processes
  • Support compliance with federal and tribal environmental regulations
  • Assist in preparing reports and documentation for regulatory submissions
  • Serve as a point of contact for tribal stakeholders and program partners
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics
  • Organize and maintain project records and digital documentation systems
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and tribal representatives
  • Provide logistical support for training sessions and outreach events
  • Review technical materials for accuracy and cultural appropriateness
  • Assist in developing program materials and guidance documents
  • Monitor funding requirements and reporting deadlines
  • Support grant management activities including documentation and status updates
  • Conduct research on environmental health topics relevant to tribal communities
  • Participate in virtual meetings and conference calls with stakeholders
  • Ensure data privacy and confidentiality in all project activities
  • Collaborate with technical experts to translate complex information
  • Help coordinate site visits and field assessments when needed
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tribal environmental policies
  • Support continuous improvement of project workflows and tools
