Role OverviewWe are looking for a TrakSYS Senior Developer to lead the design and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions in fast-paced production environments. You will take ownership of technical development, system integration, and solution architecture using TrakSYS, ensuring alignment with operational goals across the manufacturing lifecycle—from raw materials to finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement MES applications tailored to manufacturing workflows and operational needs
- Convert business requirements and user stories into robust, scalable technical designs
- Support end-to-end automation of production processes, ensuring reliability and efficiency
- Deliver technical demonstrations and walkthroughs as part of project milestones
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting during system outages or critical incidents
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations and recommend practical solutions
- Deliver proactive application support, including on-site assistance at manufacturing facilities when necessary
- Integrate MES platforms with industrial control systems using OPC and other standard protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of direct experience implementing and developing MES solutions with TrakSYS
- Proven expertise in technical architecture and development within TrakSYS environments
- Familiarity with ISA-95 frameworks and MES integration patterns
- Background in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing operations
- Working knowledge of OPC communications and industrial system connectivity
- Experience applying ITIL practices in live production settings
- Strong ability to interpret complex operational challenges and design effective technical responses
- Track record supporting high-availability systems with minimal downtime
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environments and provide hands-on support when needed
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with occasional presence required on the manufacturing floor to support system operations and collaborate with plant teams. The position demands flexibility to respond to critical production events as they arise.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $54,300 to $130,000, depending on experience and location. Additional compensation may include performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
