Responsibilities
- Sets up and services laboratory instruments and systems
- Provides foundational training to users during equipment installation
- Delivers reliable technical and customer support for products
- Schedules and ensures timely preventive maintenance activities
- Plans and executes required equipment modifications on schedule
- Reaches out for expert assistance promptly to resolve complex technical problems
- Submits accurate and timely reports on service activities
- Builds and sustains strong relationships with assigned customer accounts
- Follows established field service protocols, policies, and standards
- Keeps recommended levels of spare parts inventory for supported products
- Manages appropriate stock levels of replacement components
- Travels regularly within the assigned territory as needed
