We're looking for a contract Technical Recruiter to support our expanding engineering, product, and design teams within a high-growth AI-powered SaaS environment. This role is fully remote and centers on sourcing and closing talent for complex technical positions across multiple time zones.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for backend engineering roles, with a primary focus on Scala, and additional experience in Java, Python, and Node.js
- Engage with teams building advanced AI and machine learning systems, including multi-agent architectures and large language model integrations
- Support hiring across both US-based and international positions, with active pipelines in Lisbon, Portugal
- Partner closely with hiring managers to align on expectations, refine evaluation criteria, and ensure consistent feedback
- Build and maintain deep, reusable talent communities rather than filling roles on a transactional basis
What We’re Looking For
- Proven ability to manage 6–8 concurrent engineering requisitions across multiple technical domains
- Direct collaboration with a Head of Talent who prioritizes precision, technical fluency, and high-quality candidate submissions
- Strong grasp of backend engineering fundamentals and the ability to engage meaningfully with engineering codebases
- Experience supporting recruitment for AI/ML teams working on cutting-edge, research-forward technologies
