AlphaPet Ventures GmbH is looking for a Technical Operations & Innovation Engineer (m/w/d) to bridge the gap between technical innovation and operational excellence. You will be a key partner to the Team Lead, focusing on integrating new technologies into our infrastructure, rethinking the developer experience, and advancing the team's capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Support the team in infrastructure, DevOps, and technical automation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Team Lead to prepare technical decisions, conduct rapid prototyping, and introduce new tools, with a focus on AI-based solutions.
- Develop and expand deployment environments while automating processes to improve stability, speed, and transparency.
- Shape the DevOps culture by owning CI/CD, observability, and security topics in daily team life.
- Act as a sparring partner for the Team Lead on architecture, workflows, and operational questions.
- Use rapid prototyping to quickly test new ideas and technologies, evaluating their benefit for the company.
- Drive AI tools forward by introducing new solutions, supporting onboarding, and enabling colleagues through training and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- At least 8 years of professional experience in software development.
- Demonstrable experience in full-stack web development (web technologies, backend & frontend).
- Several years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/observability systems, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Puppet, Terraform).
- Experience with workflow automation and AI tools.
- Very good German and English language skills.

Team & Environment
