Nordson Test & Inspection is looking for a Technical Customer Engineer II to provide critical technical support and expertise to the sales team and customers throughout the sales cycle. You will be the key technical liaison, ensuring customers understand product capabilities and addressing complex system challenges.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical, application, and troubleshooting support to the field sales team.
- Follow up on industrial and competitors’ technical developments.
- Conduct technical training sessions both internally and externally with Product Business Unit teams.
- Work closely with sales and marketing groups to achieve corporate sales goals.
- Communicate and provide feedback on customer requirements for new product development.
- Manage routine technical affairs and prepare equipment for customer demonstrations.
- Support trade shows, sales presentations, and strengthen technical communication with parent and sister companies.
- Define testing plans or requirements directly with customers' technical departments.
- Gather and tabulate technical data, invent dispensing processes for new markets, and analyze competitor data.
- Use testing and internal analysis technology to optimize product application and offer input to R&D.
- Write and present clear, concise test reports to internal and external customers.
- Participate in and take on additional assignments and projects as required.
What We're Looking For
- A college degree or higher in Mechanism or Electronics.
- At least 2 years of experience in R&D or engineering within the SMT, Semiconductor, or a relevant industry.
- Profound mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Strong verbal proficiency in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and computer skills.
- An outgoing, mature personality with logical thinking, a wide mind, and strong team spirit.
- Integrity, hard-working nature, self-motivation, open-mindedness, and a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the disposable product field.
- Previous working experience in a Multinational Corporation (MNC).
Team & Environment
You will work closely with sales and marketing groups and Product Business Unit teams.
