Responsibilities
- Identify and attract skilled software engineers and developers
- Conduct initial screenings and assess technical qualifications
- Coordinate interviews with hiring teams across time zones
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
- Build talent pipelines for future technical openings
- Communicate regularly with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Partner with engineering managers to define role requirements
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, and referrals
- Evaluate candidate experience against role specifications
- Provide feedback to applicants in a timely manner
- Stay current on tech stack trends and developer markets
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Ensure a positive candidate experience
- Negotiate offers and support onboarding
- Track key recruitment metrics and report progress
- Promote employer branding during outreach
- Use Boolean search techniques for targeted sourcing
- Attend virtual career events and meetups
- Maintain confidentiality of hiring data
- Adapt communication style for technical professionals
Nice to Have
- Recruitment experience in startup environments
- Background in computer science or engineering
- Experience hiring for AI or machine learning roles
- Prior work with remote-first companies
- Knowledge of compensation benchmarks for developers
- Familiarity with agile development teams
- Certification in technical recruitment

- Track record of closing hard-to-fill roles
