Responsibilities
- Serve as a retail industry thought leader internally and externally, shaping strategy and driving adoption of innovative solutions
- Establish credibility and build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Support pipeline creation, working with account teams to identify and develop new opportunities
- Lead industry-specific technical go-to-market initiatives and develop compelling demonstrations, business assessments, and sales assets
- Provide feedback from clients to influence product roadmaps and ensure alignment with market needs
- Collaborate with global teams and partners to maintain consistency in messaging, competitive positioning, and ecosystem engagement
- Educate internal teams on industry trends, challenges, and best practices to enhance collective expertise
- Focus on strategic accounts, delivering scalable impact and industry-specific innovation
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual objectives as assigned
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience as a solution or sales engineer in CRM or similar enterprise technology, or extensive experience within the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon S3, and Datamirror
- Understanding of Cross Cloud technologies and AI-driven applications within retail
- Demonstrated experience in driving transformational initiatives across retail organizations
- Familiarity with relational databases, web technologies, and cybersecurity principles
- Proven track record in solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or enterprise software training
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with strong interpersonal abilities
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in dynamic, collaborative environments
- Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and industry best practices
- Willingness to travel occasionally
