Serve Robotics is hiring a Staff Technical Program Manager, Operations

About the Role

What You'll Do

Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical programs that span robotics, software, hardware, and field operations. Define project parameters including scope, schedule, resource needs, and risk management strategies for initiatives such as depot expansions, software integrations, deployment automation, and cost optimization. Coordinate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.

Establish clear communication channels across departments, ensuring stakeholders receive timely updates and decision-ready information. Develop and refine workflows to increase operational efficiency and scalability. Contribute to roadmap planning by collaborating with technical and product leadership. Document processes and technical requirements in a way that supports broad understanding and consistent implementation.

Requirements

  • BS in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years in technical or engineering program management roles
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or related operational technology
  • Proven ability to translate technical details for diverse audiences, from engineers to executives
  • Strong background in managing cross-functional projects with production-level impact
  • Experience working with engineering teams to deliver complex systems at scale
  • Skilled at maintaining strategic focus while delivering clear, structured communication tailored to the audience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Experience navigating safety, regulatory, or policy considerations in product development
  • Background with robotics operating in public or urban environments

Work Mode

This is a hybrid role with flexibility for remote work based in Canada. The position requires occasional travel to U.S. locations for team meetings. Key hubs include Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago.
