Watershed is a mission-oriented startup seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Product focused on delivering outcomes for our Financial Institution customers. You will partner with product, design, and customer teams to define the technical roadmap, build high-leverage platform additions, and help make Watershed a productive place for engineers.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Product, Design and Customer teams to define technical roadmap balancing time to market with codebase stewardship.
- Be a great customer to platform teams to leverage existing capabilities and educate them on Financial customer needs.
- Build high leverage additions to the platform to bring value to our Financial Institution customer segment.
- Partner with other engineering leadership to make Watershed a productive, innovative and impactful place for engineers.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience building user facing applications considering usability, performance and scale.
- A systems thinker; able to grok the big picture, identify the load bearing challenges and help others focus on what matters most.
- Experience leading high performing engineering teams.
Nice to Have
- Some experience with the financial domain.
